Well, the beauty of a Ron Paul presidency is actually that he only needs to sit on his ass to achieve most of his program. Four years without preemptive wars, without wiretapping, without Guantanamo, torture, or new assaults on civil liberties.

He doesn't need compromise, consensus or coalitions to achieve all that. In fact, all of Congress can do nothing to stop him if he decides to return part of the military budget - just like he returns part of his Congressional pay each year.
