This is a great grassroots with the exceptiong of clueless people not realizing that we have 3 weeks of serious campaigning left for the early primary states. Waiting two weeks to donate makes the money useless since it takes 1 weeks just to get anything done. People aren't going to be watching CNN during the week up to Christmas unless you mean us.

In other words we need the money now. We could raise $20 million on the 16th but we won't be able to spend effectively in any early state.

Dude they have like 7-8 million in the bank right now, that's plenty of cash-flow for them to spend with prior to the 16th. It's just a question of whether or not they have the balls to spend agressively before the next round of money actually flows in.

I'm hoping thay they do, and that the email they sent out was to encourage double donors for both now and later, and also to encourage donations from people who are not in the loop with regards to the 16th but still support Ron Paul and are on his mailing list.
