On a positive note, we are two years into OUR missing decade - only 8 more to go.

Nix that, RP has called for a 15 year recession and he has tended to be the more accurate predicter so far. So let's say 13 years to go.

That's cool though, that will still give me 7 years to prepare for retirement. OK who am I kidding here, no one but bankers and govt employees will ever retire after this.

On the news they said $600 billion more for something that would cost $1 trillion. Makes sense right?

Have you ever seen the government come anywhere near close to what they budget for anything?

Just look at the bailout as an example on how all went wrong.

Try Triple and higher on health care. Once they get their greedy hands on it and their pet projects, just count on it exploding. They couldn't control SS, Medicare, budgets on any other budget they have. If they open the doors to illegals try 5 times the money or more.
