Schiff needs to announce pretty soon though. He must know that the key battle he has to win is the primary- once in the general election, he will get GOP help no matter what. He is also anti-war and pro-privacy rights, giving him huge crossover appeal in the general.

Generally, our big battle is the primary. You have conservative Republicans he needs to start wooing. We will help pump him with money and he has his own money.

If he won't run, I guess I can respect that. But he is running out of time. Remember, the PRIMARY IS IN MAY. That gives us less than a year to pump his name and win him an election...

12 midnight Pacific Time is the proper way to look at it I think. You have to give all those folks in California who might be wandering back home at 9pm their time from dinner or something the chance to log in and contribute to the bomb. If you look at all the graphs from the Ron Paul bombs, there were still significant contributions between 12-3 am Eastern time coming in from the West Coast, and I don't think we want to do anything to discourage such activity. Just accept the fact that a money bomb day has 27 hours.

His opponents wouldn't have even known about the first 465K until the website went live last night. I expect the attacks to pick up as the status-quo begins to realize that Peter is a legitimate threat to the old corrupt way of doing things.
