20% of Americans feel their money is not safe in a bank

Not a scientific poll, but then again what poll really is? There are over 100,000 responses though.

I think we will be seeing widespread bank runs sooner then anyone expected.

A survey basically asking people how secure they feel financially posted next to an article which says that inflation is up? I guess people reading that may be more inclined to say that they don't feel confident with money in the bank. The other side of the figure is that 80% feel their money in the bank is safe. Depends on how you spin things.

If 20% of all people with deposits in banks withdrew all of their money, all banks and the FDIC would fail, leaving no money for the other 80%
