I will seriously consider this. It's way out of my budget but I'm likely to sign up anyway.

I think pledge matching is a lot more involving and ultimately better way to get people to make a donation, but anything is good I suppose.

$1000 is a lot of money for most of the people.

However, if you know that 9,999 people will do the same, then, you can sacrifice a little bit (or a lot) depending on your situation to raise $1000 and deliver an embarassing blow to MSM pundits and first tier candidates.

Well, I hope you're posting this somewhere else besides just this board, because we don't have anywhere close to that number of people.

The mass media looks at how many people donate as a factor too. If they see only 10,000 people donated $10,000,000 to Ron Paul then they will disregard the numbers. We need to get all donations in no matter how small or large they are. I would rather have 100,000 people donate $100 than 10,000 people donate $1,000.

thanks for putting it together, I signed it, but it hasnt sent me the email that I need to receive to confirm, hopefully it will soon.

I'd rather get the money any way we can get it.

Money is nice, but it's the vote that counts. We shouldn't make people feel like if they can't afford to donate $1,000 that they shouldn't donate at all is what I'm trying to say. Donate anything you can, whether it's $1 or $2,300, because more importantly it shows that Dr. Paul has one more supporter.

Signed.

10,000 People should be a goal for our board. Spread the word. The rest will give what they can (less or more)

I signed up, though frankly I intend to donate $1000 this quarter regardless of the outcome. It will mostly be done through donation matching on facebook and here if they start becoming more interested in that activity over here.

4 people, nice. I'm afraid I can't commit that money, but I hope that it succeeds...
