Well there are more US Flags than I'm used to seeing in this sort of thing, that's for sure

Ok Biden did this too. I'm not broken up about the broadcast networks going bankrupt but at least they kept everyone on time.
If you had a slot at 2pm Eastern the networks would keep you to that, whether you were a president, a king, or whatever.
None of this "oh well we'll just let it slide for an hour" like they're doctors or cable installers.

Based on what I just heard, he will be withdrawing his name from ten key "battleground" states and encouraging a vote for Trump in those states.

In the rest of the 40 states he will remain on the ballot and encourages a vote for himself.

RFK Jr. endorses Trump, slams media as Democrat 'mouthpieces,' as he officially suspends 2024 presidential campaign
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said he would "throw [his] support to President Trump."
    https://thepostmillennial.com/breaki...ntial-campaign
    {Thomas Stevenson | 23 August 2024}

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. officially dropped out of the 2024 presidential race and endorsed Donald J. Trump. He made the announcement at a live press conference in Arizona on Friday. This was previously confirmed in a court filing in Pennsylvania earlier that day.

RFK began his speech by ripping into the Democratic Party, saying that it used to be the party that stood for free speech, the working class, and other causes. He complimented the work of his campaign and the sacrifices that people made for his candidacy.

He said, “In an honest system, I believe that I would have won the election. In a system with a fairly scheduled debate, with fair primaries, and with a truly independent media untainted by government propaganda; in a system of nonpartisan courts and election boards, everything would be different.”

“The DNC dragged us into court, state after state, attempting to erase their work and to subvert the will of the voters who signed those petitions,” he added. “It deployed DNC aligned judges throw me and other candidates off the ballot and to throw President Trump in jail.”

He then tore into the Democrats for the "coup" against Biden, placing Kamala Harris as the candidate. "I do interviews everyday. Everyone who asks gets to interview me. Sometimes I do 10 a day. President Trump also does many interviews. How could the Democrat Party choose a candidate who refuses to do an interview? How did the Democratic Party choose candidate that has never done interview or debate during the entire election cycle? We know the answers. They did it by weaponizing the government agencies. They did it by abandoning democracy. They did it by suing the opposition and by disenfranchising American voters."

He addressed the media, saying "Instead of maintaining that posture of fierce skepticism toward authority, your institutions have made your made themselves government mouthpieces." He then addressed how social media has colluded with the federal government to censor Americans and that the First Amendment has been under attack.

His running mate Nicole Shanahan said in an interview earlier this week that the options were to continue the campaign, or to drop out and endorse Trump. She said the Democrat Party worked hard, using lawfare and other means, to get RFK Jr. to stop running.

Earlier this week, Kennedy, 70, said "I am going to address the nation this Friday," and leading up to the announcement, Kennedy withdrew his papers to register for the election in Arizona. This led to rumors that Kennedy will be appear on stage with Donald Trump in Arizona after his announcement, and Trump has said he will have a special guest at his Turning Point Action event at 5 pm. Kennedy will also endorse Trump for the 2024 race.

On Thursday night Trump told reporters, “I have no idea if he’s going to endorse me. It’s possible we will be meeting tomorrow, and we’ll be discussing it.” Kennedy's campaign has faced an uphill battle in many respects, from the Biden-Harris administration refusing to offer Secret Service protection for him to facing legal battles to get on the ballot in different states.

Kennedy was able to do one of the most followed independent campaigns in America and is a member of the Kennedy family. His father served as attorney general as well as Senator before seeking a bid for President and his uncle is former President John F. Kennedy, both were assassinated, per the Associated Press.

Kennedy has a history of activism for environmental causes and has taken issue with the handling of the COVID-19 pandemic and vaccine mandates. He has also taken issue with Big Pharma during his campaign, saying that he would dismantle the healthcare bureaucracy and direct the National Institutes of Health to focus on treating chronic conditions instead of infectious diseases.

During the campaign, he has expressed his dissatisfaction with the Democrat Party, which he once claimed membership in.

He actually loses me on this chronic disease thing.
I just passed 50 and I still feel like I'm 25 years old, despite smoking from 14 to 34, continuing to drink regularly, not seriously exercising, and eating as much as I want.
I figured out just the other day it's because when I was a kid, 50 year old men looked like death.
Today every 50 year old I know is capable of getting out and playing ball with kids. No 50yo parent did that in the 80s or 90s.
The terrible health outcomes he talks about are all boomers who think it's ok to drink diet soda every day and voluntarily got strapped to hospital beds when they got covid.
People who make their own determinations and stick a middle finger in the face of the establishment and go on carnivore diets are the ones losing weight and getting rid of chronic pain.
I don't think putting RFK in charge of that establishment isn't going to make people make their own health decisions again.

RFK Jr. Suspends Campaign, Supports Trump

    https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2...for-president/

UPDATE: Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has stated he is suspending his campaign but not ending it, urging residents of blue states to vote for him but throwing his support behind former President Donald Trump in battleground states.

Agreed. I like that he's staying on in the non-battleground states, too. That way he can still register the so-called "protest vote".

    x-post from other RFK thread:

    The outcome was baked in.

RFK's running mate was Sergei Brin's wife until last year lol, so while he's standing at the podium decrying big tech censorship, his running mate is literally a ridiculously rich Silicon Valley product, who was literally $#@!ing the Founder, largest shareholder and Board member of GOOGLE last year. Deep state be deep statin'. It's a big club and all that. All you have to do is pay attention to how all of these people are connected and accept that they share an agenda to turn the country into a totalitarian technocracy. It's really not rocket science.

As much i dislike Trump on certain issues like the Israeli lobby.
Harris is no different however for other issues like ESG/DEI she would be far worse.

Listening to RFK Jr. again, it sounds to me like he thinks there is a difference between democrats and republicans.

    I'll be dipped...

Can’t wait until Swordy tells us this is all part of the elaborate plot to replace Kamala with RFK.

A campaign member [libertarian] and I were talking about this during/after the speech, we both agreed that RFK and the higher ups aren't fully aware how deep the tangled web runs. @jmdrake was kind enough to share the Whitney Webb interview which I didn't know about until today. Had that information been widely known, the campaign could have utilized some of that material, and realize that "Trump is not going to save us".

Other than cosmetics which easily entertain and dupe the public into voting, there is no difference between parties at all.

So I guess Rfkjr is in on the plan to install Trump as dictator?

I just watched 15000 Trump people raise the roof in AZ as Trump introduced Kennedy.

For years now I have been chastised about "falling for the old divide and conquer" ploy.

I just watched the most significant political "coming together" since Ron Paul in 2008, maybe even more so.

Thousands and thousands of people shouting in the face of outright tyranny, cutting across "party lines" and candidates, to come together in an inspiring way.

And I'm happy and eager to support that.

I will now await the Legion of Doom to come along, throw wet blankets, $#@! all over everything, call me a communist and just generally act like a bunch of old bitter cranks.

I still can't believe that Donald freakin Trump is the most sensible choice left in this election now. I guess I am a Trump voter. Not really proud of that, but I suppose I'm doing it.

What you watched is MOB rule. Just because they cheered your side, doesn't meant that they understand Follow the Money, the powers behind the chosen, government intervention, or even liberty at all. They are looking for government "solutions" the same way that the "other side" is looking for government "solutions".

The republicans speak republican jargon, the democrats speak democrat jargon, but they are in complete cahoots for the same policy agendas.

For example, there is a thread concerning Trump's Agenda 47 schooling which is nothing but "bait and switch", spoken in a way to appeal to republicans to embrace the expansion of government control. Your guy Trump is a master of that art.

Todays Ron Paul episode covers MOB rule, and then goes on to talk about and encourages Voluntarism.

We've got 4 years to do better.

But, of course, we're not going to.

We're going to mope around and wail in misery until another election comes along and our choices suck again.

Voting is not the solution. If/until/when the people finally realize that, maybe then will we reclaim our freedoms.
