View Full Version : Blimp for New Years - $10 - 4,000 people

First, let me say that I'm one of the people that originally donated to the blimp, and left after some things went awry.
However, *only* 4,000 people need to give $10 to raise the money to keep the blimp flying another 2.5 weeks. That seems well worth it to me, and I'm willing to donate ten dollars. It just generated publicity in Houston on the front page where it isn't even flying. Furthermore, it will be a little disappointing to have it end on New Years Eve. It may even generated some bad publicity if it fails right before the Iowa caucus. In fact, it seems to me it would be fun to donate to it on New Years Eve.
New Year's Eve, a blimp, and a toast!
Seems well worth it. Only 4,000 people need to donate $10.

Though I'm not sure I would do it all over again, I definately think the additional $40k is going to be worth it. Your talking about a lot of blimp time/dollar.

For those maxed out this is a good option, however if your not maxed I would help today's money bomb, at its current rate reaching 20mil seems to be in question

Only a little over $20K needed! :) If you keep this thing flying I get a ride! (husband is donating $5K)
You guys and girls make me so happy! I thought the blimp was already dead and then I come here and see this.
Happy new year everyone!
