Would that be conceivable? Has the Judge expressed any interest?

You need to read the good Judge's books. There are good lawyers out there, you know.

Odd as it may sound, I think he could draw a significant amount of support from Faux News loyalists. That being said, I'd say the odds of him running are slim-to-none.

Thomas Jefferson, a lawyer.
John Adams, a lawyer.
James Madison, a lawyer.

Now tell me again, why no more lawyers?

I'm all for Andrew Napolitano in 2012. I wanted him to be RP's VP. He seems to me to be as strong on the liberty platform as Ron Paul. His former career is only relevant inasmuch as it will give him more ammunition to use in reforming the Federal Gov't towards strict Constitutionalism.

Having the Judge run in 2012 is the best scenario I can imagine. It would be the ultimate way to capitalize our work over the last year as well as beginning to overtake the Republican party. Not to mention to stick it to Fox News by stealing one of their own guys and using him against them!

I already told you! Did you read the link, as ordered?

When you're done with that, go read the Paris Treaty and tell me it's a surrender treaty.

Educate yourself. Look up "The B.A.R." , in Black's Law Dictionary. READ, stop repeating!

Nate, I have read them, con. chaos, and the sheeple book.

I really like the judge a lot. he is speaking to us, i know but he is a member of the BAR, period.

If he would renounce his membership that would be different. please read the link i provided. Please read into Admiralty Law.

Napalitano has no experience and wouldn't have a chance because of that.

Plus, 4 years is a lifetime in politics. No reason to be talking about this now.

Oh, yes there is, without a big advantage (and money and organization are huge advantages), we cannot win, ever. We need to start ASAP on the next Presidential Election right after this one. The campaign can have hundreds of millions if we started in December of this year, if everyone in a meetup gave $20 a month. We could also build an awesome organization and work on convincing voters in Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina to vote for liberty.

If you didn't know, the BAR, which used to be British, is American in the US of A. Also, we live under English Common Law, it would be stupid if our lawyers just a tad bit about it.

Um... you have a problem with him being a lawyer just because? Do you even know what the bar is?

Admiralty law is maritime law. Boats... Water...

Technically you live under the common law of your own state. Unless you live in Louisiana, which has Civil Law.

The bar is nothing more than a professional certification. You take a bar exam to certify your legal competency. There is also the American Bar Association, which accredits law schools and provides networking events and certifies continuing education programs for practicing lawyers.

Each state has English Common Law because they either changed administrations before coming into the US, or they were English colonies. The reason why LA has civil law is because that is the French way of doing things, and that is how they decided to keep it. Of course, we do not have all of English Common Law, the legislatures and constitutions have overruled some of it.

What is that supposed to mean?

That because someone belongs to something with the word British in it makes them disqualified to run for office?

Does it mean I am crazy to think a lawyer would actually have the best interests of my liberty at heart?

Common Law is a growing and changing beast. The several states have each had their own common law, built upon a version of English Common Law, yes, but it became their own, completely separate from that of England and Wales and from the other states.

Nothing. He has no valid argument, or at least hasn't presented one. I would just ignore him.
